About Us

WOW! That’s STEM is a youth-led nonprofit built on one belief: STEM with no limits. Our mission is to make STEM fun, hands-on, and inclusive—especially for youth with limited access to these opportunities.

We began in 2022 with a few library workshops to make STEM accessible to more girls. Since then, we’ve grown into schools and youth groups that lack STEM resources, advocating to make engaging STEM experiences accessible to all kids. 

As we code a robot or launch a catapult, we are also building trust and connections, helping youth gain confidence and resilience. There’s a special kind of magic in watching a student go from hesitant to hopeful, seeing them realize that they can solve problems, build things, and dream big. It’s the wonder in their eyes and the pride in what they have built that brings us back, month after month.
